ENJOI TRANSPORTATION TO DONATE VEHICLES TO LOCAL CHARITIES:

Enjoi Transportation announced plans today to donate used vehicles to local charities in support of Michigan's Work First program. "The biggest problem for the working poor, who are called upon to work to obtain government assistance, often is just getting from home to work", stated Enjoi CEO Paulette Hamilton. "The lack of transportation is a major force that continually pulls them back into poverty." Responding to a recent University of Michigan study that identified the lack of transportation as the number one barrier to employment, Enjoi will donate used vehicles from its fleet to local charities, who will provide them to Work First participants.

"We want to do everything we can to grow Michigan", stated Ms. Hamilton. "In order to grow Michigan we have to put people to work. In order to put people to work, they must have access where the jobs are--whether the job is in the inner city or the suburbs. People must be able to get there."

Enjoi Transportation is a Michigan-based non-emergency transportation company that coordinates transportation services for health maintenance organizations (HMO's), government agencies, long-term care facilities and also for elderly, disabled, and low-income individuals.
